Gulf Oil Marine is pleased to work with INCO Trading & Services Ptd Ltd for its technical conference “2020 Sulphur Cap Fuels & Lubricants & Biofuel & Fuel Quality ISO 8217” in Jakarta last Wednesday, on 26th June 2019.
Various speakers in the event discussed and provided useful guidelines and tips to assist the local Indonesian marine operators to prepare for the 2020 regulatory changes.
Mr. Simon Lew, Sales Director, Asia Pacific and Mr. Irwan Jaafar, Senior Technical Manager Asia Pacific, gave an overview of Gulf Oil Marine and shared the transitional challenges facing the ship operators adopting to use the low-sulphur fuels for 2020 compliance. Irwan introduced Gulf Oil Marine’s new cylinder oil blending unit (COBU) and other new technologies and Gulf Oil Marine’s free vessel implementation plan platform to help the marine operators to prepare their implementation plans (per IMO guidelines).
