At Gulf Marine, we believe operational excellence and social responsibility go hand in hand. Recent volunteer initiatives across our global network reflect our commitment to supporting the seafarers who keep global trade moving.
Supporting Seafarers in Singapore
In partnership with the Mission to Seafarers Singapore, our Singapore team prepared 320 care packs for seafarers before the Lunar New Year. Each pack contained practical essentials including a bag, dry-fit t-shirt, toiletries, cutlery set and travel adapter.
Volunteers from across our offices dedicated time between their regular responsibilities to assemble these packs. Working collaboratively, they formed efficient packing lines with a shared purpose: to deliver a tangible gesture of appreciation to seafarers spending the festive season away from home.
Our team also had the privilege of distributing packs directly to crews. These moments of connection, marked by conversations and shared smiles, reinforced the human impact behind our CSR efforts.
A Global Commitment to Care
This initiative did not stop in Singapore. Our Hamburg team demonstrated the same spirit of service during the Christmas season, partnering with the Women's International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA) to distribute care packs locally. These parallel initiatives underscore that community engagement is embedded in our culture across regions
