Gulf Oil Marine continues to support Hong Kong Trek 2016

As a partner of the Sailors’ Society, Gulf Oil Marine continued to support the Hong Kong Trek this year, which was held on 5th November on the Lantau Island and Sunset Peak Trek.
Three groups of Gulf Oil Marine’s colleagues based in Hong Kong went on an expedition to raise money for the Sailors' Society. They tackled the challenges of 15-27 km on steep hills and raised over $58,000.
Gulf Oil Marine’s team “Above and Beyond” is now in the lead for the highest fundraiser amongst the 27-km Adventure Trek and the final fundraising results will be announced on 10th January. All the funds raised will help the seafarers and their families through the Sailors’ Society’s forthcoming projects in Asia.
Congratulations to all trekkers who have made such amazing effort training for the trek, competing on the trek and raising an incredible amount for those seafarers in need. Also, we would like to thank again all volunteers for their kind supports on the event day.
