The maritime industry is facing stricter carbon emission regulations and has ambitious sustainability targets. It is against this background that the Maritime and Port Authority of Singapore (MPA), the Singapore Shipping Association (SSA), and the Global Compact Network Singapore (GCNS) present the Maritime SG LowCarbon50 Awards 2025 to recognise maritime companies that have demonstrated excellence in carbon accounting and taken significant steps toward reducing emissions. The award evaluations are based on emission reduction, innovation, and scalability.
