We are pleased to report Gulf Oil Marine China Customer Service and Dubai Supply Chain teams’ achievement of another “going extra mile” accolade!
Our Customer Service Officer, Fiona received an urgent order from Sunny Marine Service Ltd. on 18th December for delivery to their vessel, MV INHERIT at Khorfakkan, UAE on 19th Dec which was a local weekend holiday.
With the timing and weekend constraints, Fiona responded quickly, working closely with Anil, our Middle East Logistics Manager and the UAE supply chain team. As the order quantity was large, our supply team had to move and transfer stocks, adding more coordination work.
The order was supplied successfully on-time-in-full, allowing the vessel to departure on schedule, on 19th December 2020.
Our customer appreciated our good work and the challenges that our teams faced; they wrote:
“We really appreciate your great support on this case. We placed the firm order on last FRIDAY afternoon, vessel ETD is next day afternoon. Your great team overcome the operation time limit, try best to transfer for full stock and make barge available to supply successfully to our vessel before departure.
