Gulf Marine Names First Purpose-Built Barge “Reliable I” in Singapore

Singapore, 15 January 2026 – Gulf Marine today officially named Reliable I, our first owned, purpose-built lubricant supply barge, during a ceremony at Marina Keppel Bay.

The 56-metre vessel was named by Godmother, Lisa Holum, Chief Operating Officer Asia at OSM Thome. Reliable I reaffirms our shared vision of sustainability and our commitment to service delivery reliability.

Built from the keel up to set a new benchmark in delivery speed and reliability, Reliable I features:
- 1,058 KL total cargo capacity
- IMO Tier III-compliant Mitsubishi high-speed main engine with SCR system
- Advanced loading systems and real-time inventory management
