The new marine lubricants network providing worldwide reliable logistic & technical services to the shipping industry.

Gulf Oil International announced on the 15th July this year the launch of Gulf Oil Marine Limited (based in Hong Kong), as a new company for the delivery of marine lubricants for the international shipping industry.

After just 15 weeks of activity, Gulf Oil Marine Ltd is able to provide the shipping industry with marine lubricants, customer and technical services, in more than 300 ports, in over 30 countries. This has been possible through the reciprocal support and co-operation of the partners belonging to the Sealub Alliance.

Gulf Oil Marine is rapidly developing its geographical coverage and is planning to deliver marine lubricants and services to over 450 ports in 45 countries by the end of 2009. Gulf Oil Marine & Sealub Alliance have started operations in major ports of the world, including Singapore, Rotterdam, Hong Kong and Fujairah, using barges for delivery. In fact the barge operating in Singapore (1,700 dwt) is one of the biggest lube barges ever used in worldwide marine lubricants supply.

In today’s tough economic environment Gulf Oil Marine acts as a partner to the industry, offering a fresh approach to customers and suppliers, focusing on reliable delivery with a value added service at all times. This is encapsulated in our company strap line ‘We are always at the ship’s side’. Gulf Oil Marine’s primary concern is not that of being the biggest marine lubricants supplier but to be the best, in terms of geographical coverage, delivery, reliability and technical / customer services.

Caroline Huot, Gulf Oil Marine CEO & Managing Director explains, ’’With our commitment to the shipping industry and our customers support, we will bring a tailor-made service with local committed expertise to our valued customers worldwide’’.
