On 10th Nov 18 (Saturday evening) An Shun Marine Service Co. Ltd placed an urgent lubricant enquiry for supply to its vessel, M. V. Ocean Success which was expected to arrive China within the next 1-2 days. The vessel needed to be supplied as it does not have sufficient lubricant on board to sail to its following port in Indonesia (which will also be more challenging for lubricant supply). Gulf Oil Marine’s Customer Service Officer, Ms. Rebecca Zhu responded to the enquiry promptly and by 11th Nov (Sunday morning), after working various options, was able to offer us several cost effective lubricant solutions. So when our vessel arrived Xiamen on 12th Nov, Gulf Oil Marine was able to successfully begin supply to our vessel 2 hours after it arrived. The whole operation took 3.5 hours in total; that was highly efficient.
An Shun Marine would like to express our appreciation to all Gulf Oil Marine’s staff who helped in this urgent supply. In particular, the company wants to thank Gulf Oil Marine’s Customer Service representative, Ms. Rebecca Zhu, who upon receiving our enquiry over the weekend, followed up very closely with prompt responses, professional advice and brilliant coordination, resulting in a successful on-time-in-full supply and hence allowing our vessel to depart on schedule. Also, as always in our previous interactions with Ms Zhu, she offers her professional advice with full consideration to help us deliver more cost-savings.
