United Autosports make their way to Macau this weekend (16-17 November) for the annual City of Dreams Macau GT Cup.

The Macau GT Cup takes place in the former Portuguese enclave which became a Special Administrative Region of China in 1999. The biggest event of the year is the Macau Grand Prix, held on a tortuous track which winds through the streets of what is known as the "Monaco of Asia", not just for its famous race track but also for the plethora of casinos.

Richard Meins and Danny Watts will take on the daunting circuit in a pair of McLaren MP4-12C GT3 cars sponsored by Gulf Oil Marine lubricants and The Noble Group.

United Autosports are facing fierce competition as a packed 33-car grid thunders round the high-speed circuit. Edoardo Mortara, the factory Audi DTM driver who has won the Macau Grand Prix twice before, will also be competing against the team. Richard Dean, Team Owner and Managing Director, United Autosports:
“We are looking forward to making our way to Macau and taking on one of the most popular and challenging races in the world. We really enjoy this event, and we seem to go really well here having scored three podiums in the past three years of competing. We have a really strong driver line-up in Richard and Danny so, fingers crossed, it will be a good event.
