Dear Customers and Partners,
Since taking the helm as Chief Executive Officer at Gulf Marine in September 2025, I have been impressed by the strong partnerships and close collaboration that exists between Gulf and our business partners. I am deeply appreciative for the trust you place in us and proud of the capabilities Gulf possesses that makes this possible.
2025 has been a year of consistent progress. We advanced the industry’s transition to alternative fuels through rigorous sea trails, laboratory validations and technical collaborations on significant projects, including the world’s first ammonia engine and the first EV-safety-compliant PCTC. These initiatives affirm that our recommendations are fully aligned with your sustainability goals.
We also strengthened our supply infrastructure with the opening of a new warehouse in Romania and the planned January 2026 commissioning of Reliable I, our first purpose-built barge in Singapore, which will enhance delivery precision in that vital hub. Strategic long-term agreements secured this year, further demonstrate recognition of our operational reliability and customer satisfaction.
Sustainability remains at the core of our strategy, as outlined in our 2025 Sustainability Report [link].
Key initiatives include:
- Reducing plastic pails from 80% to 23% with metal and recycled packaging.
- Powering trucks with biodiesel in a trial pilot.
- CAT II lubricants for alternative fuels, ensuring optimal engine performance and reliability.
Looking to 2026, Gulf Marine will maintain its focus on three priorities:
- Delivering innovative, regulation-ready lubrication solutions
- Continuously improving local supply capability and service levels
- Strengthening partnerships through data-driven technical advisory and shared sustainability goals
